SIMS 3 NEWS: CHINA IN WORLD ADVENTURES LEARN HOW TO MASTER KUNG FU FIGHTING IN SHANG SIMLA, CHINA In the new expansion pack, Sims can now master Martial Arts by traveling to Shang Simla, China. The five main steps to Martial Arts are: Train, practice, center, master, and teach. A detail list of these steps are listed below: TRAIN - The best place to begin the path of the righteous is in Shang Simla, China at The Phoenix Academy of Martial Arts . Those who wish to train outside of China can also learn the skill. Bookworks can take books home on Martial Arts. Sims may purchase the Board Breaker or the Training dummy. After alot of practice with the training dummies, and the board breaker - or reading, can your Sim claim they have enough skills to face the several opponents. In The Sims 3 World Adventures, your Sim must defeat several worthy opponents in the Grand Tournament of China, to master Marital Arts. PRACTICE - Martial Artists love to spar and hone their skills in friendly combat. As a reward, Martial Artists receive new training outfits with colorful belts to denote their skill and aptitude in the craft. Sparring is a great way to develop your Sims skills, build friendships, and show off cool new belts obtained as reward! CENTER - Meditation is key to obtaining focus and mental peace of mind. A powerful fist is nothing without a stronger mind. Focused Martial Artists are able to teleport, making them incredibly powerful. MASTER - Master Martial Artists are so powerful they can summon the magical elements from nature itself to aid them in their battles against evil! TEACH - Top Level Martial Artists may train others, further strengthening the ranks of disciplined martial artists throughout the world. Some information is from the Sims official website. SIMS 3 NEWS: VIDEOS RELEASED The Sims 3 released two new videos for the Sims 3 expansion pack "World Adventures". I still feel like it's a lot like tombraider, but I think it will be interesting, how it will interact with the Sims 3. Personally, I'll probably get the game for the extra traits, content, and Jobs that are included with the addition. SIMS 3 NEWS: THE TOMBS The last article on the Sims World Adventures, was released around the 18Th of this month. I won't bore you with the numerous reasons of why I didn't cover the article on the Sims 3 World Adventures. However, one major reason I didn't cover the article on the Sims 3 World Adventures was...that I kinda wasn't impressed. I'm not that hard to impress, then again my husband would say differently. I suddenly started feeling bad because it occurred to me that there are some, that may not have read the article on the Sims 3 World Adventures. Besides, I felt the urge to give my opinion on what was release on the Sims World Adventures. - at least Egypt. Well... the "basement tool" in the Sims 3 World Adventures didn't quite impress me as much as it seemed to impress others. Why? I Remember basements from Sims 2, and to be polite I wasn't very fond of them. Although, I did download a house with a basement, for the Bachelor/Bachelorette challenge - and I did love it. This feature might be good after all and with tombs it will be necessary. I thought the fog was a good touch - exactly I loved it! The Floor Switch, dive wells, and wall and floor traps was a bit too much. I kept thinking of a family going though this, or a mother carrying a child. It's possible with the features that were released. The Sims 3 World Adventures seems like a good expansion pack, but all I can think of is "Tomb raider", and that movie "Indiana Jones". (Gotta to tell you the Sims 3 World Adventures kinda ... doesn't impress me - " maybe I am hard to impress"). SIMS 3 NEWS: THE TOMBS

SIMS 3 NEWS: ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SIMS WORLD ADVENTURE EA announced the box art for it's new expansion pack, the Sims World Adventures, August 27. Two new screenshots were also released. The screenshots shows a mummy committed on cursing a Sim, and a Sim narrowly escaping from a fire trap and in one of three locations your Sims can visit in the game. They are Egypt,China, and France. SIMS 3 NEWS: THE SIMS 3 WORLD ADVENTURES I was browsing the internet and came across a website that gave a short review on the first Sims 3 expansion pack. One of the members of the website, was invited to appear for a viewing of the new expansion pack. She wrote an article for that website. She quickly addressed the one thing many Sim fans want to know - Sims must still be created in Sunset Valley or Riverview. No, Sims won't be able to live in the newly created "worlds". It's all up to your "visa level", how long you can stay. You can build up your Visa level by taking on opportunities and adventures. She then gave an example on how a Sim would gain "visa levels". She told her readers that Sims must take on these opportunities or adventures to gain "visa levels". At this time, she wanted to tell her readers that going on these "adventures" or holidays doesn't permanently take away current opportunities from the Sim. Then she told a brief story of a Sim named Chaz. It's kinda like the video. Here's some things that the article reveals: -You may have to go to another location to find things to complete some opportunities. - All ages are allowed to go on vacation, even babies and toddlers so you don’t have to leave them home. - Even though babies and toddlers can come on vacation, the parents will still need to carry their children on their arms while exploring the lands. (She didn't say if a babysitter was available) - We still won't able to create new neighborhoods. - As you probably know you can see a snake charmer on one of the Sims 3 World Adventures screenshots. Our Sims are able to learn that as well. - When your Sims go on vacation not only will the opportunities be saved, also the neighborhood will freeze time until your Sims come back. So you can leave some family members at home. -There are new types of food ingredients available. SIMS 3 NEWS: SALE ON SIMS 3 IPOD TOUCH AND IPHONE The makers of Sims 3 dropped the price for the Sims 3 to $6.99 on the ipod touch and iphone. From my understanding, it's similar to the Sims 3 on the PC. It doesn't sound great, but I heard It's great for when you are waiting on the bus, standing in line, between classes, etc. On a positive note, I did find out that their were mini-games. SIMS 3 NEWS: ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SIMS WORLD ADVENTURES EA has release news of it's first expansion pack for the Sims 3. The new expansion pack is titled the "Sims 3 World Adventures". It doesn't seem to be like the previous expansion packs "the Sims 2 Bon Voyage" and "the Sims Vacation". It seems as though it may be a mix between my favorite adventure games , Virtual Villagers and the Tomb raider series. Since reading the article at IGN, taking a closer look at the pictures, and features of "the Sims 3 World Adventures". I see exploration! I think the Sims are going on the adventure. The Features of "the Sims 3 World Adventures" game is: Accept challenges, find treasures, discover what’s lurking in hidden caves and more. Explore famous landmarks in countries like China, Egypt, and France. Learn new skills like photography and pursue new opportunities. Meet new Sims from exotic locations and share their cultures. Customize your Sims homes with new styles & artifacts from their adventures. Free SimPoints for The Sims 3 Store (1000 SimPoints), and additional online features to be announced.
